How can i gain 4.5 lbs in a day?

I weighed two days agao and i weighed in yesterday...same machines at home and gym and it shows i have gained 4.5 lbs!!
How do you think this happened. Everything was same no change in time, diet or schedule
Answer:
Best way to weigh is without clothing and the shoes. One glass of water is about 16 oz, will weigh about 1lb +few oz., just think about it. 1 gallon is about 8 lbs.If you take the weight before and after a meal or before and after reliving yourself you can have about 5 Lbs deference.
Eat a TON of carbs!! like bread and vegtables
well you always have to subtract clothing weigh and stuff.
weight scales arent 100% correct. sometimes they can be off by more or smaller. dont listen to it.
Just fluid variences. Probably way less hydrated yesterday and a little fuller today. football players can drop 10 pounds in an afternoon of practice.
I have experienced the EXACT same thing as well as a lot of people I have talked to over the years. One reason is the scale - if it is adjusted or moved it can show fluctuations. Many househould cheap scales will give various results within minutes of weighing. They are not 100% accurate and the slightest change in angle will alter them. You can verify this by weighing a household object one day and then weigh it again the next - do this a few times. You will most likely be surprised by the change.Additionally, if you are not going to the washroom for a day or two the food you eat is going somehwere. How many pounds of food do you think you eat a day?Check out this site under #19 - it mentions this issue. http://www.inru.in/?p=109Hope this helps.
Probably water retention.I read somewhere that the best time to weigh yourself is first thing in the morning before you eat breakfast but after you use the washroom. That way you can get your true weight.
