How can I add more protein to my oatmeal?

Every morning I have a big ol' bowl of oatmeal with almonds and fruit (I didn't used to eat breakfast, but since I've started, I find I have a lot more energy). Any idea how I can add a little more protein to my oatmeal in a tasty way?
Answer:
add a scoop of whey protein to your oats "after" they have been cooked. cooking with whey protein will damage the fragile protein structures making them unusable for biological processes
sprinkle raw oat bran on it
Crumble in some crisp bacon(well drained). It wouldn't hurt to also eat a piece of cheese sometimes(not with the oatmeal).

How can I achieve my weight goal and stay at that weight?

I am a 24 year old female. I currently weigh 126 lbs. I am 5'3''. My goal weight is 110. I know that I could quickly get to my goal weight by starving myself and exercising like crazy, but I don't want to do it in an unhealthy way. I want a 'lifestyle' not a 'diet'. How can I reach my goal?
Answer:
On Feb 1, 2007 I was 230 Lbs. I am a male at 5'9" in height. I changed my diet to 6 small meals a day. I eat every 3 hours starting at 7 am with my biggest meal for breakfast about 500 calories then about 350 calories for second meal and decreasing about 50 calories per meal from there. I get a workout IMMEDIATELY BEFORE breakfast, this kickstarts my metabolism, and then I usually eat an apple then oatmeal with whole grain bread and milk. The oatmeal is digested SLOWLY so my boosted metabolism causes my body to digest my bodyfat (at least thats what I've been reading). I incorporate alot of vegetables into my meals, it helps to satisfy my hunger without excess calories, plus they have vitamins galore. Talking about excess calories, I cut out fruit juices, soda, or any liquids other than water and milk. Fruit juices and soda usually contain alot of sugar I find, which your body will use to fuel your body, instead of digesting your food into glucose(sugar), your body will store it as fat. I try to do something anything that will cause me to burn calories, exercise, housework sometimes shadowboxing or exercycling, anything before I eat, this keeps my metabolism up to speed. Planning your meals is important and don't prepare too much food or you might eat it all, a lesson I learned my first week. Self control and planning are critical. It is now March 6, 2007 I weigh 211Lbs, 19 pounds I lost , I still can't believe how easy it is really. 19 pounds shed in 34 days. I feel great , I look so different. People say my skin is so much brighter and I look different and that makes me feel good. I am full of energy and I am so much happier so I must be healthy. Veggies, fruit, whole grains, lean meats and WATER. I am lactose intolerant so I dont get much dairy, just enough milk to get some calcium. Its important to eat, as eating increases your metabolism as well. I must add that my weight loss wasn't immediately apparent as I was gaining muscle mass when I started working out. Muscle is heavier than fat and more muscle means more calories burning throughout the day. Also, less sodium in my diet meant my body shed excess water as well. Don't eat out of a can and don't drink out of a can. Canned foods are usually high in sodium and/or sugar. I didn't have to buy anything special I'm actually saving alot of money, the healthier foods cost far less and tapwater is cheap.(well my water bill is 100 dollars every three months so I'm gonna start drinking the stuff instead of just flushing it down the toilet). Fasting will reduce your metabolism and the amount of sodium in your body, and you will drop weight fast but its all water weight which you gain right back plus more when you start eating again because your metabolism is so low. I wasn't even working out as hard as I could have been, but now that I see how much weight I lost so effortlessly I cranked up my workout routine and I noticed my weight loss slowed down alittle but my girlfriend noticed my muscles are more visible and are getting bigger now. Big Smile on my face.
There is no 1 magic thing that will make the excess weight fall off and stay off, it's a combination of many things. Essentially it is a way of living.Don't buy Herba-anything they just want to make money off people like us-people who want to lose weight-there are millions of us, thus they see a market for millions of dollars.Never starve yourself not even for a day, it's very unhealthy. The only reason you lose "weight" is because your body is cannibalising itself and shedding excess water.I stuck a full length mirror on the wall next to the door that leads to my kitchen, I look at my self and I see that this works and it puts a smile on my face, then when I go eat I have control and enthusiasm to continue this new lifestyle. Sometimes I feel like I'm eating too much, but as long as I stick to my calorie count for the meal the pounds just seem to melt away. I weigh myself every morning before eating and after I use the bathroom, this helps to get a consistant bodyweight and the numbers are always smaller than the day before :)
I also created a chart that has the food groups on it and I put a checkmark in the appropriate box for each meal that I eat, for example I just had a peanutbutter sandwich with 250 ml of skim milk so I put 1 check in the Grains, 1 check in the Milk or alternatives and 1 check in the Meat or alternatives. This is extremely helpful in planning my next meal.
i am on herbalife. i have lost 46 lbs in a month and a half. i have a tone of energy and i am never hungery. if you would like to know more please write me at krissloan@sbcglobal.net
if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I would suggest you use a diet that is all natural and is rich in protein and vitamins. I used a protein based diet with Herbalife after a friend who had lost weight recommended it to me. All the way through you feel great and energized, you also get great coaching and support along the way. The people are very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so fairly easily. There is no pressure and they will even send you a load of free samples so you can try before you buy. The samples were the thing that initially convinced me that this was the right path to choose. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight. You also a get e free complete health consultation with the samples, I think I just paid the postage, but for what I got it was well worth it.
I lost all my weight in less than four months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them. The owners will advise you on what to purchase depending on what you want to lose, my sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in less than five months. The website is www.myhealthabc.com. You just leave your details and they call you up, I would suggest that if you aren鈥檛 sure or don鈥檛 want someone to ring you then go to their main site www.myhealthabcmall.com and you can see all the products and packages. This is what I did before I went to the first site and left my details so they could contact me. You can see with all the products and detail they have, so you know that they mean business. Its nice to have contact with real people who care about you losing weight and improving your health. I know that I will continue to keep the weight off with the help I have received. I hope this helps.
Hi. There are many ways to reach your goal. The most important thing to do is watch your calories. You should never eat less than 1,200 calories a day.Another very important thing you need to do is 20-60 min of cardiovascular or some kind of physical activity 3-5 times a week. Even if it is walking around your block, exercise is a good way to burn off excess calories and get your metabolism going.Watch what you eat and make smart choices. Instead of reaching for a chocolate chip cookie, eat something healthy instead! You can still have some of your favorite foods, but you need to eat very small servings of your favorite foods if they are fatty. There is no need for more calories than your body needs. Cut back on things like high calorie sodas, coffee, and sugar. While losing weight, you do not want to make yourself too full. Your stomach should feel satisfied, but not stuffed. It is important to eat fresh fruit and vegetables at each meal. Not only do they fill you up, but they provide fiber and essential nutrients. You can make a plan of a diet or a chart that would work for you.Go to the grocery store and look at brands that are low-calorie or low in fat. Start to buy those low-calorie foods instead of the ones with high fat and calories. For example, buy skim milk instead of whole milk. Keep your refrigerator stocked with things like grapes, carrots, celery, and low-fat yogurt. When you are hungry, reach for those foods over the ones that you know are bad for you.Look at websites like www.dietbites.com for more tips.It is also important to not go on a crash diet, like the grapefruit or all-liquid diet. You will lose the weight very quickly, but then you will gain the weight back almost as quickly as you lost it. You have to stay active and keep eating healthily to keep the weight off.Do not give up! Think about how good you will look. Remain positive the entire time. If you mess up, move on. Just keep working towards your goal.
Good for you for not trying to get a quick fix with a crash diet! Someone on ByeDR.com recently introduced me to www.sparkpeople.com which is a completely free online guide to a healthy eating and lifestyle plan. I have been on it a week and feel so much better about the whole weight-loss process. Things don't feel so daunting anymore.
I'm 23 and I find it good for my age and stage of life.

How can I get rid of muscle on my butt?

I'm a runner and my my whole lower body is all muscle. Even my butt. I have a very skinny waist and it looks unproportional to have a skinny waist and such a small upper body compared to such a large muscular lower body. As crazy as it sounds I want to get RID of muscle. Does anyone know how to get rid of muscle off of your butt?
Answer:
Run for six months using only your arms.
you can't 'get rid' of muscle, it's there to stay i'm afraid
only thing i can think of is stop running. but you dont want to do that so i guess to make yourself more proportional is start to work on building up your upper body.
Ever thought of counteracting it by getting more muscle on your torso.
i'd prefer that you *s.h.i.t* alot!
Darling why you worry about the muscle, it is good. Only you have to do good exercises for your upper body and make it proportional. Wish you best of luck.

How can eating after midnight really effect you and your body?

Answer:
I do it ALL the time.Your body does now know or care what TIME the calories come in, it only knows how many you take IN, and how many you BURN.There is no such thing as a 24-hr cycle of energy....Yes its not the best to eat right before sleeping- obviously your metabolism drops significantly when you sleep and therefore theres a higher risk tha what you eat can be stored because it isnt needed.
BUT: I can tell you this from PERSONAL experience:
You can eat after midnight- 2 am, 3 am, etc, and go to sleep right afterward, and STILL lose weight or at least KEEP your current weight, if you eat reasonably throughout the day and dont overload on sugary foods.
Its a good idea to eat sufficiently in the day, too, so you arent so hungry at night and can sleep without having to snack.
Try having a bigger dinner. :)
But, if you still need to eat late, dont worry about it, so long you eat carefully as much as possible.
You don't have enough time to burn off extra calories so you gain weight.
just look what happened to the gremlins....dont say i didnt warn you xx
it aint about eating after midnight. the problem lies in eating them sleeping directly after. inactiveness after eating is a great way to gain weight. inactiveness prevents weightloss period. but inactiveness after eating is the worst. so excercise after every meal. and excercise after waking up.
i eat all through out the day, especially late at night, and i weigh 118 pounds. bottom line, it doesn't matter when you eat, it's what you eat and how much of it.
You can eat safely at any time, but you shouldn't go to sleep straight after a meal. Apart from not burning off the calories, your stomache will have problems digesting the food and this could lead to constipation, wind, heart burn and other stomache upsets.
It is not advisable to sleep straight after eating, somebody at school was hospitalized because he was always doing this. You need to let your food go down first.

How can appetite-control supplement can help you get cut without feeling hungry?

Answer:
Every successful plan to get lean is built upon three primary cornerstones. The first is aerobic exercise--aka cardio. Cardio activities (such as running, swimming, or cycling) get your heart pumping, which strengthens your cardiovascular system and burns fat.The second element is resistance exercise, more commonly referred to as weight training. Resistance exercise builds muscle size, strength, and power. And the third one is the healthy diet. But no matter how much cardio and resistance exercise you do, if you can't control your hunger cravings and stick to your diet it will still lead to weight gain. But dont worry because there is a supplement LIPO 6 that will increases your energy levels and helps to control your appetite in such a powerful way, that you will never go hungry again on any diet.
all that crap .. it is just crap.. nothing works except eating healthy.. as long as u eat healthy in between meals, like veggies and fruit .. you should be OK.. don't put that crap in your body.. it is really bad for you.. look at Anna Nichole Smith!! I don't care what type it is.. it is bad bad bad!!
How long can u sustain?Eat healthy and not junk food and that too when hungry and not more than three times a day. Water alone can be taken in between. Chew each morsel at least 32 times so that ur body massaging system is activated and tells u in time that u have had enough.Take light exercises and brisk walks on regular basis. U will attain ur desirable weight within a reasonable time.

How can a teenager lose 8-10 pounds in about a month?

i'm pretty thin...but i do have a little bit of a stomach %26 crunches don't work i know that.. i know you can't do spot treatment and you have to lose all over your body..i've been eating alot of fruits %26 veggies, rice-cakes, salads, protien, milk, lots of water.. and trying to watch my calories.. i've been running the treadmill 30min a day %26%26 i really want my stomach gone in a month for prom...what else can i do to get in better shape %26 healthier?
Answer:
sounds like you are doing all the right things eating and exercising if your not over weight what are you so worried about anyway try some cardio exercises and try eight minute ab workout its awsome and works
If you are already thin and still want to lose 8-10lbs in a month, you have to starve yourself to achieve this goal...otherwise it's impossible.
in no healthy way. fast weight loss=fast weight regaining
and it's very dangerous to your health
Do nothing Ashley; a woman naturally has a small mound at her abdomen. Flat abs are a male thing and for a woman to copy and gain the same look is detrimental to her physical well being.
Leave the belly alone if you are already thin enough. Trust me you will look a lot better as a woman for it.
easy! jerk off more. like 6 times a day. drain that pecker like it was a tube of toothpaste.
First of all DO NOT STARVE yourself. You might lose the weight but you will be pale or ashy looking. Your eyes will sink in and you will look scary!! Your best bet is to lose weight is to do pushups-- real ones not girly ones!! No knees!!! This strengths not only your arms but your butt, abs and back. Do about 20 a day for the first two weeks and then 30 for the last two. Rest on Sundays. After the Pushups wait two minutes-- get a drink whatever-- then Do situps. Do not hold you feet down, it will be harder but you will look better. Do 40 then increase to 60 slowly. Again rest on Sundays. Then wait 10 minutes. Warm your legs up and go for a 2 mile run. Yes it is long but you will drop weight like crazy. Run every other day. But not Sunday. Also depending on your weight-- and the weight you want to be: If you want to weight 120 eat 1200 calories a day at least. Take your weight and times it by 10. That is the minimum to eat to stay healthy. Also cut carbs-- no potatoes, pasta or white bread--NO more rice cakes either! :) Drink only water and lowfat milk. Drink 10 glasses a day. 2 milk, 8 water and you will be fine. Note: You will probably be in the bathroom right about an hour after your runs for a while. Exercise moves things along. It is normal so there is nothing to worry about.Good Luck!!

How can a little skinny mofo start building muscle..?

Ive got protein, pair of dumbells and a barbell...What do I do?
Answer:
well you've got the right attitude but unfortunately you need more in the way of equipment! You have to lift heavy to really build muscle, anyway, heres the DL on what you've gotta do..1. The best way to train for optimal strength gains and muscle mass is to use basic core weight training exercises which work many different muscle groups. These movements are considered the true mass builders and will stimulate muscular growth and strength gains in individuals who consistently use them in their overall strength training workout plan. These core exercises consist of:Barbell Squats
Power Cleans
Barbell Bench Press
Barbell Rows
Military Presses Lift the heaviest weight you can for 3 sets of 10 reps, make sure you lift to failure! you may feel like puking or you may actually puke, that's ok LOL!Always eat a small pre-workout meal consisting of some low glycemic carbs and a quality protein. A good meal is a half cup of rolled oats and a scoop of whey protein. This provides you with a sustained carb source to provide energy through your workout and a quality protein source to support muscle repair and growth.
Creatine will also supply you muscles with energy to help you through a difficult workout but you need to research it before using it because it has to be cycled.Make a protein shake post workout. Make sure you get 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight daily.Don't work the same muscle group 2 days in a row. wait at least 48 hours between. Muscles grow at rest, not at the gym!Any questions, e-mail me sarahnbj@yahoo.com
start out small and work your way up to more reps each time you work out
drink a slim-fast(or any meal suppliment drink like ensure) with everymeal, its like eating two meals without the fat. start doin multiple reps of lower weight so your body starts using the protein and vitamins in the right way, when you start to bulk (and you'll notice after like 2-3 weeks) then you start lifting more weight, but for now, just do the meals and the mullti reps.
Eat all the time if you are skinny, keep pushing the weight up as much as you can as you progress. pump as heavey as weight as you can and then do a little more asfter a short rest, this will build muscle and make you very sore

How can a lazy person like me lose 3-4 inches around my waist by june 1st w/o trying?

45 year old getting kind of sedentary no real health issues. don't want to change my iet too much.
HELP!
Answer:
If you change nothing, nothing will change. You're asking how you can do exactly the things that have added 3 inches to your waist, yet get a different result. It can't be done. Your diet may not have to change (but it would probably help) but you should increase your activity level - a lot. Don't make drastic, harsh changes, walk more, eat less sugar, fat, salt, etc.
You can't without trying.
Exercise and a balanced diet are what you need to look great and be in shape. I would also try a weight loss vitamin (not supplement). I saw an ad on TV and did some research online about "The Greatest Vitamin in the World" and I saw that they have a weight loss vitamin that is clinically proven and FDA approved so I would give that a shot! The site is http://www.dontforgettotakeyourvitamins.... if your wondering
you probaly exercised or some thing I guess
OMG are you serious? Just get liposuction if your that lazy - all you have to do is walk to your car and into the clinic. Everyone else will do the work for you.
take laxatives.have yourself cryogenically frozen.be put into a coma.have your teeth wired shut, and go on a liquid diet.
Seriously though, I lost 40 lbs on a tuna fish and water diet.
I wouldn't recommend it, and it took longer than what you want.
just go for a walk everyday, good luck
You could try Proactol its a new diet pill thast clinically proven and has a 180 day money back guarantee. You will lose weight on it, but it may come back again when you stop taking the pills if you don't change your diet/lifestyle.
http://www.thefatbinder.com
stop eating and dont be so lazy !!!!
Liposuction
Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.
I found this on this website. There are more tips and info.
there's a video on success fitness too.

How can a 20 year old female lose 6kg quickly and decrease the appetite in general?

Basically I weigh around 47Kg and have about 156cm in height. What I would like to know is not only how to lose a considerable amount of weight (about 10-15% of body weight) fast in order to look very fit, with a least amount of physical effort, but also how to avoid or rather decrease or control the hunger which is ultimately determining me to gain that weight back.
Answer:
cardio is the best way to lose weight along with healthy eating
once you lose the weight you can do strenght training to tone up
good luck
Meth.
Loosing weight to quickly isn't healthy. If you cut back your calorie intake to much, your body is going to go into "starvation mode" and it will hinder your results. Start out by adding 30 minutes of exercise into your lifestyle a day. Whether it is a walk, bike ride, or something like yoga or pilates. Exercising generally will decrease your appetite naturally. Just what ever you do, do it healthy and over a period of time!
You only weigh 47 kg and want to lose another 6kg. You will look like Nicole Ritchie and that aint healthy. Your body is probably already in starvation mode and to shift another 6kg will be very difficult. Goodluck.

How can a 15 year old get well defined chest, and arm muscles?

well i decided to work out to get in better shape. what can i do to get nicely defined chest and arm muscles? should i do high weight low repetions, or low weight high repetitions? also, what kind of excersizes? and should i diet too?
Answer:
Well, what I did was I found how much weight I could lift for each exercise, for example I tried bench pressing 125 pounds, i benched it 10 reps, 10 very difficult reps. Tried bicep curling 30 pounds, did 10 reps, 10 very difficult reps. I did this for bench press, pullovers, squats, pulldowns, bentover rows, dumbbell curls, barbell curls, leg extensions, leg curls, tricep extensions, skullcrushers ,presses behind the neck, and Arnold presses. After I figured out the max weight I could do in 10 reps, I cut the weight in half and wrote everything down, a workout log. Now here's the trick, I now do 3 sets of 10 reps, but 1 raise the weight in 1 second and lower the weight in 3 or 4 seconds, raise in 1 second and lower in 3 or 4 seconds. For 1 set of 10 reps you muscles will be under tension for 40-50 seconds, for 3 sets your muscles will be under tension for 120-150 seconds, thats 2-21/2 minutes, thats a long time, this is what will stimulate your muscles to work harder and grow larger and get stronger. Do this for each exercise you choose. There are 3 exercises that make up the core of my routine, the squat(King of exercises), the bench press, and the pulldown. These exercises are called compound exercises, they work 3 or more muscle groups at the same time, the other exercises supplement the core exercises. Here is the order I do my exercises, Squats, Leg extensions, Leg Curls, Bench press, Pullovers, Pulldowns, Bentover rows, Presses behind the neck, Arnold presses, Tricep extensions, Skullcrushers, Dumbbell curls, Barbell curls. I work the large muscles first, reason being I will use my smaller muscles during those exercises as well, this way I dont tire out my smaller muscles before I get to the big muscles. I also throw in 3 sets of 30 Crunches to finish things off, I eventually plan to do as many as I can, I do all this in 1 hour, very intense workout, very sweaty, lots of grunting, very satisfying. Now you must increase the weight each session, even if it's only 1 pound(use a weighted wriststrap). This is very important, if you don't increase the weight you muscles will feel no reason to grow and get stronger. Think of it this way, I plan to put 50 pounds on the barbell for my bench press, do my 3 sets of 10, at 1 second to raise the weight and 4 seconds to lower the weight, since I workout 3 times a week, I will increase the resistance by 3 pounds per week, 12 pounds per month, in 6 months ther will be at least 122 pounds on the bar, doesnt sound like much really, but at 1 second to raise and 4 seconds to lower, that requires alot of strength and muscle. Start low and progress by 1 pound per session. This is the key, this is the "secret" that you find in any books that would buy or get from a fitness trainer. Also , nutrition, very important, eat 2 hours before your workout and immediately after your workout, during your workout you deplete your energy and nutrients, your body is now starving for food, what you eat next will make or break you, you MUST eat protein and carbohydrates, fast digesting protein and carbs, like eggwhites(cooked) and instant rice, these when consumed together will stop your muscles from breaking down and stimulate your body to create more muscle. Your next meal after this should be more protein and carbs. You need at least 1 day in between workouts to rest and repair and build more muscle, building muscle can take more than 36 hours after your workout. The benefits dont arise during the workout, the workout is actually damaging your body, the benefits come during the rest phase, providing you eat properly. You body will heal and grow stronger, analagous to bone breaks, the bone takes damage but heals back stronger to perform better. I sent a link to a bodybuilding site, dont freak out you won't look like Lou Ferrigno(you could if you wanted to) its just that these people know alot about preworkout and post workout nutrition, this is CRUCIAL. There are also different menu items like Exercises, this will show you which exercises work which muscles and how to do them correctly. Dont forget to look in Nutrition for preworkout and postworkout nutrition, this will make your life a whole lot easier, your workouts will be like 5 times more effective than if you didnt eat the proper foods before and after your workout, dont workout for nothing. Also in the menue is a workout database choose 1 or tweak 1 to suit your needs, but I recommend at least the Squat , the Benchpress and the Pulldown, even if its just these 3 exercises you should get good results. Warm up before you workout, this will help to prevent injuries, all I do is about 10 minutes of very light cardio on my exercycle then I just stretch my muscles for 5-10 minutes, its easy and kinda fun, I just do some makeshift karate moves, like JUDO CHOP!!!...lol...do anything , do something. Also ...I've been thinking about this question of yours all evening.....I recommend doing the squat, bench press, and pulldown, try these for awhile...then add in exercises after a few sessions...like bicep curls and triceps extensions....dont overwhelm yourself with a huge routine right away.....unless you are really determined....don't do split routines, meaning exercising parts of one body one day and others parts the next day....this usually entails working out almost everyday...eventually you will skip workouts because it will just take so much of your time...get it done in one day and rest and enoy your day off....right now im very excited that its workout day tomorrow.
start on low weight high repetiitons, if you can tolerate the pain, then go higher.
Either one will do the trick. Eat a high protein diet, don't try to lose weight, but stay away from starches, fats, fried foods and sugars.
Work outs with free weights are better than machines. Find exercises on google.com
lift weights iguess and run alot and yeah....
Do pushups, they work!!! Do many reps, and try pyramid pushups: http://youtube.com/watch?v=3ihg8grocxq.... A general rule for pushups is that if you can still do one, you haven't worked out hard enough. So keep doing sets of ten until you can't move anymore. The next day you will be very sore! That's good, that means your building muscle.
Start out really low then work your way up. You don't want to start doing a huge workload and strain your muscles.
I highly recommend Arnold Schwarzenegger's book on weightlifting.
Cut sweets
Work out muscles, do Pushups everynight even if its like 5
do like 10 then go to 9 ..8..7 6 5 4 3 2 1 or untill you get tired..
for weights high weights low reps will give u strenght
low weights high reps will give u endurance and tone ur muscles
Pullups, Military presses, pushups, situps, u can look more here http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/exercise...even if ur not into body building they tell u how to build up each muscle.before u exercise eat carbs . then after u work out eat proteins so ur muscles can heal...GOOD LUCK!

How can a 12 year old lose weight without going to the gyM/?

I need to lose weight fast how can i do it without going to the gym?
Answer:
First of all you are still growing so dont think u should lose weight because u are still growing . trust me i am 15 and i had my growth spurt and all that baby fat does tone out. But if you want to stay fit and healthy try joining a sport , and also dont drink soda! diet soda is good but soda is BAD! also try to add more fruits and vegetables to your diet, and like i said b4 ur still young so dont worry about your weight and just enjoy being a kid :)
run, stop eating
If you're 12 you shouldn't loose weight. You're still growing. If you think for some INSANE reason you aren't healthy, include more fruits and veggies in your daily food intake.
You can do tone your muscles in your own house. Get dance videos or play music and move your body to it each day for an allotted time. I prefer doing things that do not make me think about losing weight. I like things that are fun and hey I am losing weight at the same time. Good luck.
dude if ur 12 then leave ur self alone cuz ur gonna get a growth spurt nd all that BABY FAT will be gone trust me im 13 nd im a lil chubby but i know that it'll go away juss remember not to eat too many sweet things nd get plenty of excercize nd it'll work out for you
sat and do daily areboics
play dance dance revolution religiously
Walk
play!!! duh. put down the playstation and pick up a football (basketball, baseball, etc) also, stop eating sugar (candy, soda) and eat your vegetables.
well u can either get surgery oru can go to the gym or u know take weight loss from the comercial and order food unitil ur skinny but diet food also eat diet foood
drink lots of water and walking
well first of all you need to make sure you are eating healthy-translated as stop eating junk food. Also, don't eat if you are not hungry, I am not saying starve yourself by any means, but do not eat out of habit.Go for walks, run, ride your bike, make it a point to be outside a lot being active. Doing repetitions of crunches and sit ups can help as well as lifting weights, this allows you to get into a habit and can build muscle weight versus fatty weight.Making a food/calorie log for a week can tell you what you are actually eating and what you need to cut out of your diet. Then make sure you keep a commitment to exercise a certain number of days a week. Playing an intramural type sport really helps too with practice and games and what not.Good luck and stay healthy!
To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.
I found useful informations at
Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full

How bad is artificial sweetener for you? What are the possible side effects?

Are these negative properties balanced out by the fact that it has no calories?
Answer:
my opinion is throw them out and never, ever put any artificial sweeteners in your body again. do some research, they can cause numerous problems, including cancers.
also, these sweeteners cause stomach bloating/swelling, so there is your negative.
They are very bad for you !!and resent research shows that your body craves more sugar and bad food because of them. Funny how you think your helping your self but in reality your doing harm. I wish I could remember the web sit that I read about how people were being misdiagnosed with M.S. (they were really sick) Then as soon as they stopped the artificial sweeteners they got better. Try to find it ...maybe punch in multiple sclerosis and artificial sweeteners. see if anything comes up. Good luck. GO TO...on the web. ........ nexus aspartame.... then click on the article ... the bitter truth.

How anyone had a suddenly slimmer wrap?

They say you can lose between 6-20 inches in one procedure. Its supposed to really work. Thanks
Answer:
My boss gets it done - it works for a couple of days before you regain all the inches. The only way out is exercise for an extended period.
Wraps remove water from your body. Once you leave and start drinking and eating again you are going to start retaining again. Wraps are good for weddings and other events! I have heard that if you get wraps done weekly it can help to shed inches. You should try calling the place to does the wraps and ask them these questions!

How am i doin????????

alright i want a visible 6 pack, so what i have been doing so far is cardio like jumping rope and such, then been doing different types of crunches so i can work different parts of my abs, and i've cut back on the junkfood, i dont consume as much as before...also im thin but may have a but may have a bit of fat..................can u give me some tips on some other things i can do........................than...
Answer:
you're doing great...keep it up and all the best!!! :)
You're doing good, in order for your cardio to be effective you'll need to do it for 20 minutes continuously without stopping-to keep your heart rate up and burn fat. If you can't do it for that long, jump rope and then go for a light jog for the rest of the time. Build yourself up to 20-30 minutes. Sounds like you're doing great with the rest.

How 2 reduce my weight easily widout doing yoga and without using slimming belts and without going to beauty.p

Answer:
Eat smaller amounts more through the day!!Get plenty of sleep and at least 30 minutes daily of exercise!!Have a nice breakfast with either good cereal...and yes there is bad and good cereals!! Or a bowl of fruits but don't mix them!!!Nice lunch and make it the heaviest meal of the day that way you have time to digest it through the afternoon.A nice light meal at night and before 7pm if you can help it. Be a bit active at night in fact don't seat the whole night if you can help it even if you are just watching TV stand if you can!!If that does not work you can always use E!!! It will make you sweat a bunch but it is life risky you decide!!!
actually that what i want to know
let me know if you got an answer
give up sweets and fast food and do a 10 minute exersise every morning
There is no EASY way to control weight. You make lifestyle changes and then it becomes habit. Either you adopt a healthy lifestyle or you will have weight problems the rest of your life.
There's your problem, you can't loose weight easily! Loosing weight is hard work. If you aren't up to it, then you aren't going to loose weight!
EXERCISE

How much is calories does your body burn just by going through the dat?

I want to know how much calories your body would regularly burn without excercise.
Answer:
You probably burn 1700-2200 calories a day, depending on your size...see the calcualtor below. The calories you burn in a day is called your Basal Metaboic Rate (BMR). Hope that helped.- Mike
hmmm well actually it depends on ur metabolism !
it depends how much of your body is muscle, muscle burns fat or calories the less you have, the less calories will be burned at rest, to loose 1 pound you need to cut out 3500 calories so if you cut out 500 calories a day you should lose 1 pound a week

How do I lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks?

goin to the bahamas.
Answer:
Cut off a leg.
drink nothing but water and eat only fruits and vegetables. Do lots of sit ups and squats.
I had quit smoking before my wedding and gained 20 lbs. A month and a half before my wedding (about 6 weeks) my dress did not zip. I used the south beach diet started walking every night and did some light weight lifting 3 nights a week. I lost 30 lbs. in that time and my dress was a little loose (but looked great). For me this diet worked best. I had tried other ones in the past that failed miserably. My only concern is that what works for one person may not work for someone else so I cant guarantee you that this will work for you. I was never hungry and the food taists great its more of a change of life style thing. If you can get through the first 2 weeks the rest is cake (literally you can have that piece of cake after 2 weeks if you want too).Try it, it worked wonders for me and the weight was easy to keep off too.
Sounds like fun! Exercise! Start jogging or walking to burn up some fat. Cut out some carbs and sodas. Make sure you have a good routine.
Brisk walking/jogging for 30-60 minutes daily, start by eating a healthy breakfast, and eat approx 5/6 SMALL portions of food throughout the day. Your hot meal should be included in this but make sure it is a small portion not a whole plate full. Foods included could be chicken strips with salad strips (finger size), banana (best eaten in the morning), Ryvita with marmite, but no butter, fruit and veg sticks to snack on. You can do sit ups etc but do not expect to see ripling abs, it only tones up the muscle, the fat will still be sat overtop and your muscle will not show, this may help to tone up excess skin, but 6 weeks is not very long. Walking/jogging or other cardiovascular excercises will get your metabalism going and therefore burn fat. Keep a count of the calories you consume and the amount of saturated fat in food, the less the better. If you join a weight watchers or similar program, they will be able to advise you better on the food side of losing weight. Good luck

How can I loose some of this weight?

I AM TRYIN TO LOOSE WEIGHT AND ONE OF MY FREINDS TOLD ME TO STOP EATING....FOR ABOUT A WEEK. BUT THEN THE OTHER ONE SAID NOT TO DO THAT. SO FIND A DIET THAT I WOULD LIKE AND STICK WITH IT....SO WHICH ONE SHOULD I DO???
Answer:
DON'T STOP EATING THAT IS DANGEROUS! INSTEAD EAT WHAT YOU WANT AND THEN FORCE YOURSELF TO VOMIT AFTER EATING EACH MEAL. THIS IS MUCH HEALTHIER AND IS THE WAY THAT MODELS MAINTAIN THEIR HEALTHY BUILDS.
Try using a calorie counter to log every thing you eat. I lost 8lbs in 17 days by doing this and exercising 20 min a day.
Noooooooo, you need to eat at least 1000 calories per day. Tell your friend who told you not to eat he's dumb. Work out, and eat right. If you don't eat, your body will start eating your muscles as that has protein, and you will not have alot of energy or none if you don't eat.
Neither, but especially not the first one. You need to see your doctor to find out how much weight you should lose, if any, and how to go about it safely. Good luck.
Stop looking for instant gratification. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat sensibly and exercise.
Starving yourself is the worst thing you can do. Your body will go into famine mode and store more fat. Walk for 30 minutes every day including weekends, Mondays, and Fridays. Do at least 30 minutes of weight training each week. Do 60 minutes of additional, higher intensity cardio each week. You don鈥檛 need additional equipment鈥攊nfomercial products like the Ab Lounger, Sauna Belt, etc. are all worthless so don鈥檛 waste your money.Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3 grams trans fat and 3 grams sugars. Your primary source of sustenance should be grilled boneless skinless chicken breasts and canned tuna (in water, not oil). No dairy (except low fat cottage cheese occasionally); no processed meats; no heavy sauces; no chips, cookies, sodas, breads, etc.Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals. Don鈥檛 starve yourself during the day, but if you don't wake up famished, then you ate too much the day before. Stop eating at least two hours before you go to bed.Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Turn off the TV and the computer. Sleep is vitally important. Don't consume alcohol鈥攁lcohol is nothing more than empty calories with no nutritional value. Some people will argue that alcohol has some health benefits when consumed in moderation鈥擨鈥檓 not debating that鈥攂ut we鈥檙e talking about weight loss here. Lay off the booze if you want to lose the fat.Drink lots of water, then drink more. Not tea, not Gatorade, not milk. Water. If your urine isn鈥檛 almost clear, you need to drink more water. Good luck.

YOU CAN LOSE SOME OF THIS WEIGHT IN A PROPER AND EFFECTIVE MANNER. IT'S GENERALLY CALLED DIET AND EXERCISE. I DON'T LIKE THE WORD DIET - IT NEEDS TO BE A LIFESTYLE CHANGE. I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurites come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. How can i loose wieght fast? without excerszing just a diet?

Answer:
I recommend trying sparkpeople.com! It's a totally free diet plan...and it works! I lost over 30 pounds using their website to track my intake. It's wonderful! Here's some more tips that I've written up:1. stop eating most grease, fat, salt, %26 sugar.
-this means NO fast food. fried foods. greasy food. fatty foods. sodium. sugary foods (including, but not limited to, candy %26 soda pop). 2. drink a lot. i mean A LOT. of WATER!
-at least 8-10 (8oz.) glasses a day. at first this may cause you to put on some slight water weight, but in the long run it helps flush the fat out of your body. also, did you know that 90% of the times that you are hungry you are actually thirsty. 3. do NOT starve yourself.
-eat about 6 very small HEALTHY meals daily. that way your body won't go into starvation mode and it will easily process the food you eat and use it for energy instead of fat. 4. keep track of your calories eaten.
-you should probably aim to eat around 1,500 a day. do not go under 1,000. 5. eat HEALTHY.
-this means organic foods. vegetables. no white breads...eat lots of healthy 100% whole grains. fiber. etc. buy only healthy low fat/reduced fat %26 calorie foods....however just because they are healthier does not mean you can eat as much as you want of them. eat only 1 serving portion according to the nutrition label on the box. 6. exercise.
- Did you know that researchers have now proven that DIET is more important than excercise when it comes to losing weight. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13821677/)... Exercise is only important to keep a fit and tone body...It definately helps maintain your health! At least try a little...I don't really exercise, but I do walk (sometimes lol)! what i would recommend is starting with something super simple...like going for a 10 minute walk everyday for a week. then the next week going for a 20 or 30 minute walk at least 5x a week. the only way i can accomplish this is to make myself go for a walk at the same time everyday. exercise does help you feel fuller longer. but remember...if you do decide to exercise, it does not mean you can cheat on your diet. 7. take a daily vitamin
-...I take WeightSmart. there are also some other healthy vitamin supplements that help you lose weight in the long run. one of them that is good is called CLA. you can buy it at wal-mart or basically any store that sells vitamins. i wouldn't particularly recommend diet pills. they're kind of a waste of money and not good for your body.8. weigh yourself.
-at least once a week, if not everyday. (you should aim to lose about 2 pounds a week.) also, set a long term goal weight %26 date.(based on if you were to lose about 1-2 pounds a week.) 9. BE PATIENT!!
-i cannot emphasize that enough! losing weight takes a while %26 believe me we all want a miracle overnight cure, however it simply does not exist. but if you stick to these things and really follow them. you will lose weight AND keep it off. if you try to lose the weight too fast, you'll just gain it right back. trust me. also, you will have slip ups, don't let them get you down, just start over again the next day...eventually you'll get it right, i promise!!! 10. remember that you are on a diet %26 let everyone around you know too.
-so that way they can support you. remember that out of sight=out of mind. get that junk food out of the house.
Cut out all sugar in your diet and it will make a significant difference.
stay away from suguras and fast food. try to drink lots of water. ya know its not safe to lose weight very fast. eating right and working out go hand in hand.
Can't, the only way you can safely lose weight is with regular exercise and a healthy diet. if you try to lose weight by diet alone you will only be setting yourself up for failure.good luck
You can't. Not without ruining your health. You didn't GAIN that weight overnight, %26 you're NOT going to lose it that way- either. And excersizing is IMPORTANT in a diet- because it firms up all the lose skin you have as you lose weight, as well as burning off some of the pounds. Sooo- get on a diet plan %26 STICK TO IT. If you DON'T - more %26 more of those pounds are going to stick to YOU! Good luck!
Let me see.................fast, huh? You took time to put the weight on yet you want to lose it fast. Must be an important date coming up. Try cutting back on salt, sugar, sodas, caffeine and fats. That will take some weight off right away. You would be surprised how much water weight salt, caffeine and sodas will help you to retain. Sugar turns to fat and those fries are just plain full of fat as well.Go for the healthier diets eating a rounded out meal. Eat meat, wheat breads, drink milk, eat veggies and plenty of fruit instead of the sweets. Did you know that when you are craving sugar it usually means you are thirsty? That is true! So be sure to drink plenty of water each day. I try to drink at least 3 soda bottles of water each day. Don't forget to exercise. I know you don't want to but you can accomplish soooooooo much without going to the gym. Park your car farther away in the parking lots. Walk to the park or around the block once or twice a week. Walk, walk, walk. A great and easy way to lose weight. Just remember the pyramid we learned waaaaaay back in school. Stick to it and you'll look great in no time. Otherwise you could do some damage to yourself. You can cause stress on your heart and system from the fast weight loss. You can put the weight back on even faster as well. This yo-yo dieting is stressful as well. It is better to be safe than sorry.Good Luck! :)
cut carbs to almost nil.. don't get rid of them completely because your body needs them.. Don't eat more than 45 carbs per meal.. Three times a day... Don't eat more than 15 carbs for a snack 3 to 5 times a day. Or no more than 100 calories.
3 times a day 45 carbs or less.. MEALS
3 - 5 times a day 15 carbs or lessThe more often you eat the better off you are... 6 to 8 times a day is best.
Eat lots of fruit but stay away from the high sugared fruit. Like melons.. Stay away from nuts.. they have lots of saturated fats.
Use a canola or olive oil for cooking.
Change to Splenda instead of sugar.
No regular cokes.
Lots of water...This is partly a diabetic diet.
My friend went from 242 to 165 in about 6 months. She is still loosing. She eats grapes or a low carb cereal for breakfast.
Grapes for a snack about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs later.
Eats lunch.. Salad or small kids meal type lunch or a sandwich with chips..But watch your portions and carb count...
She will eat another snack in between lunch and supper.
Then she eats whatever is for supper but she portions it.
Then she will eat another snack before bed. She is always full. Believe it or not she got as big as she did by eating just once a day. Your body stores all of what you eat because it thinks it will not get fed again.. She would eat like crazy once a day... Like Double Cheese Burgers and the fixens thinking since she didn't eat all day it was ok because she would have eaten that much if she ate breakfast and lunch.
Her doc told her that your body doesn't care when you eat but it will only use 45 carbs the rest it stores no matter what... So if you eat more than that you know where it goes..LOL...
Eating more often actually helps your body burn it.
Your body burns 60 calories just to digest the food you eat.
She doesn't exercise or anything.. But I can tell you because she was so big and didn't exercise she is really saggy... She did have diabetes but she has healed herself from the diet.here a few sites that talk about the 6 meals a day Happy Loosing..... Hey let me know how it goes...
I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body sculpting so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick! How can i lose weight in about 2 months??

i have been trying to lose weight for the past 2 months and i have been taking this exercise class for about a 2 and a half months and its not really helping me lose weight, i need some diet tips and some exercise tips.
Answer:
I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water. It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me. Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!
http://www.calorieking.comA sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

http://profiles.yahoo.com/gorillamyke...Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk. Good LUCK!
My family and I have been using the best cleansing technology...:)the first time I did it, I lost 16 pounds in 9 days:)...check out this site....w w w .gocleanse. com/colinIt will change your life:)
Eat more. 3 healthy meals...with some healthy snacks in between. It fires up your metabolism.Vary the intensity of your cardio workouts. The body kicks into fat burning mode when you do differing intensities such as a walk/run or a walk/jog.

The secret is acknowledging the true purpose of food as fuel rather than entertainment. Focus on protein, fats, and carbohydrates and learn about each of them. A little bit of research online will teach you a lot. Remember, don't diet; change your eating lifestyle. Doing so will change your life for the better. For the exercise, consider it a priority to include it into your routine.Anyway, if you want it simple, here it is in ten steps:
1. protein is good...eat plenty (about 30% of your caloric intake)
2. fats are good and bad...know the difference
3. saturated and trans fats are the bad ones - limit these
4. poly- and mono-unsaturated fats are good - don't be afraid of them
5. carbohydrates are good and bad...know the difference
6. fibers and complex carbs are the good ones - eat these (about 40% of your caloric intake)
7. sugars and simple carbs are the bad ones - limit these, particularly late in the day (stay away from sodas and chips!)
8. drink water - lots and lots and lots of water. It's the only drink you need. Anything else is either wasted or simply bad for you
9. Eat 4-6 "meals" a day to boost your metabolism.
10. A meal is defined as a portion of a low-fat, protein rich entree, a portion of veggies for vits/mins, and a portion of complex carbs. (You can get these combined as a health shake)For exercise, it's even simpler:
1. 4-6 hours per week
2. 45-90 min each day you exercise
3. do aerobic exercise (20-40 min) every day you exercise
4. work abdominals every day you exercise (between sets makes it easy)
5. do chest and triceps exercises on one day
6. do back and biceps exercises on a different day
7. do legs and shoulder exercises on a different day
8. do your exercises in sets (i.e. 3 times with 6-12 repetitions each)
9. keep a record of what you do to measure progress.
10. when your progress stalls (called "plateau"), switch up your routine.
Walk for thirty minutes a day. It can even be broken up in 2 sets of 15 minutes or 3 sets of 10 minutes if you don't have the time. Start off slowly to help build up your stamina. Eventually you will want to step it up a pace to the point where it would be difficult to have a conversation while walking. Get that blood flowing and the heart pumping. Push ups, squats, and crunches will help build muscle that will help you burn more calories. Change your diet. The food you are eating may be keeping you from losing weight, especially foods and beverages with high fructose corn syrup in them. Cleanse your organs that help you eliminate the waste products in your body(liver, bladder, kidney, and colon cleanse). Drink 64 oz of water throughout the day. This will help your body eliminate toxins and waste more efficiently and it will also make you feel full. Remember, what goes in your body should also come out. I started my diet a little over 4 months ago and have lost 38 pounds. I have so much more energy and I feel great. You can try this site. It has alot of information about toxins that enter the body by the foods we eat. It also has some links to sites where you can purchase all natural organ cleansers, vitamins and diet supplements to help you stay healthy and fit. Good luck and remember to change your diet. Once you lose the weight, you will want to keep it off. If you continue to eat the same way you have been eating, all of your hard work will have been in vain.
Hi I had the same kind of problem but I needed to lose 40 pounds, if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I would suggest you use a diet that is all natural and is rich in protein and vitamins, which is what the FDA recommends. I used a protein based diet after a friend who had lost a lot of weight with this recommended it to me. All the way through you feel great and energized, you also get great coaching and support along the way. The people are very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so with no problems. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight. I lost all my weight in less than four months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them. My sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in five months (She works out, I don鈥檛). There is no pressure and they will even send you a load of free samples so you can try before you buy. The samples were the thing that initially convinced me that this was the right diet for me. You also a get a free complete health consultation with the samples, I think I just paid the postage, but for what I got it was well worth it. You have to go to www.myhealthabc.com to register your details to get the free samples and the free advice etc and then they just call you up and ask you a few questions. It was so easy. Their main site is www.myhealthabcmall.com and you can see all the products and packages and order from their. Its nice to have contact with real people who care about you losing weight and improving your health. I am in better health now than I have ever been thanks to these products and I know that I will continue to keep the weight off with the help I have received. I hope this helps.

Hormones Help!?

When you're still growing, at one point, does your weight stabilize? Because that's your adult weight?Because I am 13 years old 5'4 and 120 pounds. I feel so fat, and I'm scared if I am going to become overweight as I get older or something. I'm really scared too, because, I don't come from "skinny, or healthy" genes.
Answer:
I think that sounds like agreat weight. ALWAYS eat healthy and exercise 3x / week and you will remain at a healthy weight.
I don't think that you're fat, in fact, you don't even sound overweight. But, if you really feel overweight, you might want to do some sports in your community or something, but wathc your weight. If you get to thin, thats bad news
your weight's ok for your height and build, but for your age, not so. it is normal for starting teens to feel that way, but since you say that you don't come from "skinny" genes (skinny is not equated to healthy by the way), try not to gain more than 10% of your present weight.
eat healthier i have fat jeans in me and im realy skinny and have a great body and all i eat is junkfood i've despied to swich to eat heathier so i have a reason to deserve my body and it makes me feel better about how i look for some reason so eat healthy exersise and you'll feel better about how you look
you're not fat girl, you're fine

Hoodia, do you lose tons of weight?

I've heard that Hoodia Gordonii makes you lose tons of weight. I was wondering if anyone has tried these pills. They are supposed to have no known side effects. I want to lose 20 pounds by this summer. If anyone has tried this please let me know how your results were. Thanks
Answer:
This is my standard answer when this question comes up...Hoodia DOES work. I've used it, and, like any other drug or supplement, if you stop using it and resort to bad habits, you'll put the weight back on. There are people that bad mouth it. People need to remember that Hoodia is a natural supplement, meant to curve your appetite, not to burn fat or metabolize. In short, don't expect to eat 3 or 4 donuts in the morning, then take some Hoodia in the afternoon, and expect to be losing weight. That's not how it works. But IT DOES work. You can try some for free for 7 days, some of the vendors that offer it for free are listed here off and on.http://axalda.info/hoodia.html
Yes tried them and I noticed no difference... You still have to restrict food intake and increase exercise...Hoodia is supposed to curb the appetite but I notice no change in mine... They are expensive and not worth the money... There is no magic pill to make you lose weight.... it takes a life long commitment to healthy eating and exercise
It's just a placebo like all the other herbal treatments.
well i had a friend give me some to try it more or less stopped my cravin to eat i was full it felt like even though i didnt eat very much those few days i didnt fell like i was deprivin myself of anything so it worked it did what it was suppose to do though just not eatin what you usually do a day and replaceing some meals with celery is quite affective as well you burn more calories chewing celery than what you get from it

HOODIA! have you used HOODIA? is it safe?! what were your results?

Answer:
Ok this is the deal- I was afraid to try it, so it sat on my shelf for 2 weeks. During that time, I did enough research to learn that it inhibits hunger- and that's it. Nothing much more was said except I read that it gave people the jitters.....so, since appetite was NOT an issue with me, I thought it would be stupid to use it. So today I was feeling adventurous and tried it- regardless of the appetite supressant thing, I loved the wide-awake feeling. I did not feel jittery like on caffeine, just very awake, and also not hungry at all. So I conclude that - yes, it will supress your hunger (if you are someone who is overweight because they eat too much) and it does get you 'wired', you'll have to decide if you like the feel of it or not- you can get a 2 week sample for the cost of shipping somewhere online, just search for it. That's what I did!

Hoodia Product?

I've read that Hoodia is very effective and there is no side effect? How far is this true?
How can we proove it now?
Just wonder that side effects may come later after years of dieting?
Any views?
How long can we be on that diet. Thanks for any feedback
Answer:
Meemee:I'll try to answer your questions. My experience with hoodia is strictly from a research standpoint. I've been researching hoodia for the past year so I'll share with you what I've discovered.Does Hoodia Work - Is It Effective?Raw hoodia gordonii has been used for centuries by the San tribe of South Africa - where hoodia gordonii is grown. So raw hoodia has definitely been "proven" to work as an effective appetite suppressant. However, hoodia diet pills are relatively new as they were first introduced on a mass scale in 2004. There are very few studies on the effectiveness of hoodia diet pills. However, the few studies that have been done have been very promising. Furthermore, there is mounting anecdotal evidence from dieters that it is a very effective appetite suppressant. Having said that, not everyone responds to it. So it might work and it might not work. Everyone is wired differently so while hoodia might work great for one person, it may not do a thing for you.The key thing with hoodia diet pills is getting REAL hoodia gordonii because the majority of them are fake (meaning they contain very little hoodia gordonii). I've provided a link below that highlights the 12 things to look for when shopping for hoodia diet pills to ensure you get the real deal. Are There Any Hoodia Side Effects? There are no known hoodia side effects to date but since hoodia diet pills are so new, we don't know what the long-term effects will be from daily use. Hoodia diet pills aren't recommended to be taken on a long-term basis anyway. In fact, they should only be used on an occassional basis (a few months at a time for example). They should not be taken on a regular basis over the long term - at least until we learn what the long term side effects are (if there will be any).Best of luck to you.Travis
If it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is.
The medical advisory have not passed it as safe in their opinion, doesnt stop people selling it though. The known side effects are high blood pressure which can cause heart problems, no is sure of the long term side effects as yet. It uses a generic of ephedra which was banned a few years ago so I assume it could still be pretty dangerous, if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I would suggest you use a diet that is all natural and is rich in protein and vitamins. This allows your body to get all the things it needs to function correctly and so you don鈥檛 feel hungry or tired. By doing this instead of going on one of these current craze diets you will be successful. The samples were the thing that initially convinced me that this was the right path to choose, I could tell the difference right away. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight. You also a get e free complete health consultation with the samples, I think I just paid the postage, but for what I got it was well worth it.
I lost all my weight in less than four months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them, the products, the tips you get and encouragement are excellent. I am still with them so I stay healthy. The owners will advise you on what to purchase depending on what you want to lose, my sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in less than five months. The website is www.myhealthabc.com, if you want to lose the healthy way and quickly then this is for you. I think so long as you are serious about losing weight then these guys will genuinely get you there.
There are lots of media coverage on Hoodia Gordonii, the African weight loss herb.It seems to be working for many people, ie it has an appetite suppressing ability that has helped people keep weight off. Here's a good review of Hoodia :-

Hoodia OR Hydroxycut?

If you had to choose based on your experience or things you have heard, which diet pill would you use. Hoodia or hydroxycut?
Answer:
Hoodia because it's natural and (if you get the pure stuff) safer. You can try Hoodia for free for 7 days from different suppliers, some of the vendors that offer it for free are listed here off and on.http://axalda.info/hoodia.html
ive heard that hydoxycut is better
Definetaly Hoodia, but it really depends on what your doctor thinks best for you, and better to stay away from those pills, it might just help to stay with a 1800-2000 calorie diet, this is just my opinion, btu it really depends on your body type, hope this helps!
http://www.hoodiareviewer.com has a lot of information about hoodia, i don't know a lot about hydroxycut.

Hoodia Gordonii / Weight loss question?

I am currently attempting to lose a decent ammount of weight ( not anything crazy, just 10 lbs in 2 weeks or more if possible) and have been working out by boxing (hitting heavy bag) running (a mile 3 days a week), lifting weights ( 2-3 times a week) and eating properly (watching carbs along with quality and content of food).I have been doing so for a month without a whole lot of results.
I am 22, 5'9'' and weigh 195 but would like to be between 180 and 185 in 2 weeks. I'm not considering anything insane because I do consider myself healthy and would like to stay that way, but I have heard of this hoodia gordonii plant that suppresses hunger. By suppressing hunger, won't you be more tired and have less energy and nutrients, which eventually hurt you when working out?Is there anything else you can suggest in 2 weeks so I can see results?
I appreciate all any constructive help.
Answer:
First, congratulations on your hard work. Stick with it, you'll get results. Now what exactly is your goal? You said you wanted to lose 10-15 lbs., but is that really it? Does the gravitational force you exert on the earth really matter or are you trying to look better? I'm going to guess you want to look better. Then throw away your scale. If you've been working out and eating right, then you won't see much scale difference because muscle is heavier than fat. Do your clothes fit looser? Do you see results in the mirror? Those are the questions you should try to answer. Now hoodia. Yes, real hoodia works as an appetite suppressant. The problem is that food supplements, and specifically hoodia, are not regulated by the FDA. Recent studies indicated that many popular brands of supplements claiming to contain hoodia actually contained very little or none. Even those that had hoodia varied from capsule to capsule. My advice: don't waste your money. Sounds like you're on the right track. Just keep doing what you're doing.Good luck!
Fill up with vegetables. Also, an appetite suppressant that works for me is peanuts. I'm not kidding, they will take away even the most fierce hunger and keep you satisfied for quite a long time. A handful before meals helps.
Eat only when hungry and that too not more than three times a day. No solids of liquids other than water in between. Please include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fresh fruits in ur diet. Please chew each morsel of food 32 times. This activates ur body system to monitor ur food intake.Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day. These changes in ur routine will enable u to achieve ur ideal weight in a reasonable time. Please do not get panicky to get off what u have accumulated over years.

Honey drink to clean out your system?

Its a diet aid i think, its suppose to be good for your liver, does anyone know what else is in it?
Answer:
I think you might be talking about this one, Cider apple vinegar (from the health shop) and honey. You have a tablespoon of the vinegar and a tablespoon of honey in a glass of water every day. It is supposed to be good for all sorts of ailments but tastes pretty awful.
My family and I have been using the best cleansing technology...:)the first time I did it, I lost 16 pounds in 9 days:)...check out this site....w w w .gocleanse. com/colinIt will change your life:)
Thats it, just honey and warm water every day is supposed to be a good liver tonic, a hand full of black grapes can also be taken as a liver tonic as well as part of a detox.

Home work-out??

I need some workout idea, i got that rubber ball, i need to work on abs, arms and thighs..any ideas?
Answer:
Have you thought about getting a subscription to a fitness magazine? They show you great work outs to do at home with weights and a ball. They keep you up to date on new work outs and even tell you healthy ideas for snacks and receipes. Videos are always good, but can turn into routine and become boring. Good luck!
Try Pilates. It works very well. They use that ball in their workouts too.
I use the one hand method.
Go to your local book store they sell tons of books that teach you how to work out at home a rubber ball.

Ho can i loose ten pounds in a month?

i need to and i dont know how or even if it is possible.
Answer:
working and eating right
eat lots of ice cream and watch TV
Watch what you eat--include veggies and fruits!!
Stay away from fast food, junk food and soda!
Drink a lot of water throughout the day!
And, get active!!!!Remember a healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week!
join bally total fitness. reduce the amount of calories you eat daily and make fruits and veggies part of your everyday meal. take a multivitamin supplement daily to go with your diet to make sure you get the vitamins you need. workout often and try to have fun with it. people sometimes take dieting and exercising too seriously and the experience becomes annoying and frustrating, as long as you're doing things the right way, you'll drop those pounds and you'll feel great. good luck ^_^

Hitting a wall with training?

I have been jogging and strength training for over 9 weeks now. I had been doing approximately 6 miles a day; 5 days a week. I had built up my pace and endurance up to this point. In the last week I have been unable to keep up my momentum. I have found it more difficult to make it through the jog, sometimes not completing the miles. Not sure if its lack of motivation, not concentrating on breathing, or tiredness. Any advice? I like to jog. Would like to continue.
Answer:
I agree with Mr. Dan. Usually, when I have periods of intense training, I tend to start feeling tired and less energized. I feel slow, sometimes sore, and even out of breath at times, and tend to make stops during the run. Take a few days off from running, it will definitely help. I don't know how much strength training you've been doing, but lifting weights every second day is usually the best option. You're at a point in your training schedule where you've reached very high levels of endurance, strength and stamina. If you want to go any further, you'd probably have to increase your mileage or training intensity. It all depends on where you're going with this. If you're just doing it for yourself, I'd suggest you stick to the training schedule you're on right now. It sounds like you're really into this and want to continue. Good for you! I actually admire your will power to stick to this rigorous training plan.
You've been doing it for about 2 months..5 days a week. I recommend you take a week off to let your body rest. After that..you'll be energized again.Another thing you can do it switch to interval training for a little bit for a change in cardio exercise
maybe your overdoing it, maybe your burned out already. sometimes people don't either eat enough or eat the right type of foods to give them the energy to keep up with the pace. if it's a lack of eating because of weight issue or building to much mass, then re-adjust. there are several factors and looks like your not focused on anything in particular so I'd take a closer look at what your doing with the breathing and whats your real motivation and are you just simply overdoing something. good luck

Hip Flexors?

I'm in Taekwondo and whenever i do a certain type of kick, the area right about my groin and right under my private area pops. I know that the hip flexors are right there. It doesn't hurt when it pops in the beginning, but later in class if we keep doing the kicks it starts to hurt and the next morning i am sore. Did i pull a muscle? Know any stretches to help this? Should i be concerned? It doesn't feel like the muscle popping, it feels more like the bone moving in the joint.
Answer:
talk to the instructor
you may just have a weird set up lol he should be able to help you make a reasonable accommodation
good luck!
maybe you should do some warmups or stretching before you start the kicks. take one step forward so your feet are a bout a foot apart. bend at your knees and hips, but keep your back straight. keep your feet flat on the floor. do 8-10 reps. then raise the foot that's behind so it's on the toes and flex again for 8-10 reps. then switch feet. hope it helps

HI.Has anyone here ever used or heard about HERBALIFE??

My husband is goingto use this diet plan starting Monday and i was wondering if amyone had any suggestions about this diet plan. THANKS!!
Answer:
Hi Iuse herbalife and its excellent. I have lost 37 pounds and I feel fantastic. The products and help etc are the best. Your hubby will do just fine if he sticks to te program and advice. they will show him how to keep off the weight once he has lost it. Hope this helps.
I have heard of it, but have not heard of any successful results
Diets don't work.Use portion control, eat sensibly and excercise. Those potions won't teach you to eat intelligently or make you exercise. You have to do that yourself.A new lifestyle is in order where you learn to eat properly.
I heard its multi level marketing firm, Have checked other diets? weight watchers? Have you seen your doctor? my Advice put it on hold for a bit. Your health is Iimportant,,
Its very expensive. I thought that it would work for me. I bought it for $600. and was still missing some pills that they told me that I still needed to take.I think that the only reason why it works is because since you are drinking a lot of water with the 7 pills a day that you have to take it fills your stomach up.. I say if that is what you want to do go for it but you can get the same effect by drink 8 full glasses of water a day without the $600 worth of pills that end up smelling like urine if you leave them out for a while.Any if he really wants to take diet pills that work tell him to see his physican. They prescribe the best ones.
If you saw Ugly Betty you'd have seen them parody it with something called Herbalux. The real Herbalife is currently fighting an allegation in court says “endless chain schemes,” insufficient disclosure in assisted marketing plans, unfair and deceptive business practices, and fraud and deceit."There are probably better ways to lose weight.
It is a scam... I it kind of a laxative so you will drink a lot, got to the bathroom often, and yes lose a couple of pound that will get back as soon as you return to a normal diet.
FEFE,
"LOSE WEIGHT NOW, ASK ME HOW."
IN MY EARLY YEARS WHILEST IN HIGH SCHOOL, I WAS A DISTRIBUTOR. BACK THEN WHAT I DIDN'T KNOW WAS THAT IT DID NOT TAKE POPPING SUPPLEMTS AND DRINKING SHAKES AND JUST EATING 1 MEAL PER DAY TO LOSE WEIGHT.
I NOW KNOW THAT IT DOES NOT REQUIRE SHAKES OR SUPPLEMENTS TO LOSE WEIGHT, BUT PROPER PORTION CONTROL AND EATING WHEN YOU'RE HUNGRY -- EATING TO LIVE, NOT LIVING TO EAT IS A PROFOUND KEY.
PEOPLE HABITUALLY EAT FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS.
This diet has been around for many yrs.
It is actually a way of life. You use it in your everyday way of living. Like Atkins or the others .It will work if you do exactly as it says.. and of course excercise.

Hi.. diet help needed?

Ok.. my friend told me that she lost over 45pounds in 2.5months, just eating 2 cans of tuna and 2 small bowls of brown rice everyday with lots of water and excersice....... well i saww how much she lost weight, its so clear that it worked..... But i just want to ask if any tried it.... she did it in 2.5 months, i want to lose 50pounds i have like 4months....I need ur advice in this thanks
Answer:
If u r dedicated to it.... u can surely do it...... thumbs up
Probably will work but include some exercise.
i think you'd be sick of tuna, and that's not a balanced diet.
Read tips %26 articles on different types of diets, exercise programs, yoga %26 much more....All about weight loss, weight watchers, Tea diets, easy home exercises to name a few
Not a balanced diet at all...don;t do it, because if you keep that up for 4 months you'll have health effects from lack of nutrients. Bad idea. Search diets online and on this yahoo site...because those diets are better and you will actually lose weight faster than starving your body into fat storage mode.
If you're going to lose weight and stay healthy, you need more than tuna and rice. You need vegetables and some fruit too. Good luck!!!
50 lbs. in 4 months would cause you to develop a lot of sagging stretched out skin. I recommend trying a 6 month plan to eat healthy and work out when possible. You'd lose probably 30 lbs which is much safer for you.
you have to find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and thats how much you need to lose weight the healthy way.
8 glasses of water a day
5-8 servings of fruits and veggies a day
portion control - 5-6small meals a day instead of 3 big ones
cardio 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training

Hi. What is the best kind of treadmill for home use?

Users : 3; Weights - 65, 62 and 80 kgs
Need India specific answers
Answer:
Wherever you maybe there are certain basic points to keep in mind while buying a treadmill.1) spend a little more but buy a motorized model.
2) Foldable treadmills are better for home use.
3) the weight capacity should be atleast 30 kgs more than the user weight so in your family's case , the capacity should be 110kgs minimum.
4) Look for the continuous duty rating and NOT the peak duty rating. it should be between 1.5-2.5 HP
5) Use each treadmill model for atleast 10 mins to gauge whether its comfortable enough for you.
6) the surface should not shake or jerk when you are using it.
Cybex Pro-T
Getting a treadmill for the home is a waste of money. If you must use a treadmill, joining a gym is better. Just walking outside is the best, though,.Usually a treadmill in the house might be used a lot in the beginning, but sooner or later it just starts to collect dust and is rarely used. It will just stay where it is until you find someone else that will take it away for free.A waste of money.
for home use you can buy the milk like goa dairy or mahananda milk bec's these milk is good trademark in the market

Hi, i want to try veggie and fruit diet but...?

how can i make sure i have i' ll the nutrients...like ummm other than drinkslike how much meat and bread do i really neeed per day? so i can eat that amount and just eat fruits and veggies or what ??
Answer:
I'm not getting your question clearly-- do you want to be a vegetarian or do you want to make sure you are eating enough veggies and also your protein from meat?If you want to be a vegetarian- no meat- just cheeses, beans, tofu ....and that's vegetarian, not VEGAN- they eat nothing that lived or is a byproduct of a living thing- which would mean no cheese or eggs.If you want to know what you should be eating to be on a healthy diet, go to dietnation.com good luck to you
you can get protein from beans, nuts and eggs. you can get your carbohydrates from fruit. i don't think that you can get adequate nutrition from a veggie and fruit diet... and it'd be hard and you may be more likely to relapse than if you had some protein and carbs.
Lean meats are better for you than red meats. Eat about a palm size daily or every other day. Bread 2-4 slices a day should be fine but don't forget to include your veggies and fruits. If you are a vegetarian take multivitamins.
Eat beans, all of em they are protein. No bread or eat Rye, Pumpernickle, whole wheat. No butter. Dark green veggies are great. So are stir frys. With chicken, shrimp or beef. Good luck
You don't need any meat or bread per day.Be sure to eat a lot though, at least 5 large pieces of fruit per day plus 1-2 huge salads (it should weight more than a pound.) I'd take a multivitamin to be safe, and add some walnuts, flax seed, or hemp seeds to your salad so you get omega-3.
Personally, I find this a little stupid (for lack of better word). Not sure why people cut things out of their diets thinking it helps. Maybe it does for a short time, but in the long run, your body needs the vitamins from other foods as well - including fats and sugars. Depending on your calorie intake depends on how much you need of each. Labels are based on an intake of 2000 calories.
i'd say to eat what feels right! it may take a while to learn what is right for your body.i eat mostly fruits and vegetables. i used to be a vegetarian, but now i just eat meat sparingly. sometimes, i will have a salad with a portion of meat in it... i usually have 3 or 4 servings of meat per week. a serving is about 3 ounces... it's not very much! to say that everyone needs 8 glasses of water or 3 glasses of milk seems absurb to me- i think different people need different things.fresh produce, in my opinion, tastes best. i would look at a food pyramid, to check out what you "should" be getting. whole wheat pasta is great for the fiber. wheat breads. dark greens, broccoli, all of the strange vegtables you can tolerate, eggs. quorn!!! garlic, ginger, basil, pesto, cilantro, shallots, scallions. homemade salsa. (partially) homemade tomato sauce... milk, cheese, ice cream, whipped cream. apples, oranges, bananas, pineapple, strawberries, raspberries. it makes me happy, sometimes, to eat a rainbow spectrum of colors.
I'm not a nutritionist so this isn't an expert answer, but I would say that with a fruit %26 veg diet your biggest concern would be to get enough protein. You don't even have to eat meat to get that protein. All you need to do is to add enough unrefined grains, legumes, seeds, %26 nuts in your diet, including breads that are whole-grain. The amounts that your body needs depends on your height and weight, and maybe other extentuating circumstances. That would decide how many daily calories that you need to maintain your weight.
Hope this helps.

Hi, i am 23 years old 5'3 and weigh 210lbs. my problem is i do not eat much. i do not eat breakfast and?

usually my first meal is around 2:00pm. and eat foods i make at home. then i will eat dinner after work, also a home prepared meal.i am not into junk food. i have always been skinny but when i turned 17 i sytrted gaining weight. i am having heart palpitations and my husband and i want to have a baby, but i tell him i need to take care of my weight problem first. i have gotten blood tests done and do not have any cholesterol or diabetes or anyrhing wrong with my thyroid. can you give me your input. thanks in advance.
Answer:
First you should eat breakfast. It is thought eating more smaller meals to be healthier than fewer meals. Divide you meals into 5 portions, one breakfast, snack before and and after lunch and dinner.Next thing that you should be concerned with is the heart palpitations. How do you sleep ? Lack of sleep or a sleep disorder can lead to weight gain, in particular sleep apnea where you stop breathing during your sleep can put stress on you heart. Now back to the thyroid, do not just blindly believe your doctor when says there is nothing wrong with your thyroid. There is a controversy about what the normal TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) range should be. Before you needed a TSH above 5.5 to be considered hypothyroid, and newer range says anything above 3. Still many people have thyroid problems if there TSH is above 2. Ask for the results of your blood tests.Next I haven't heard anything about exercise. Start, but since you have heart palpitations try going slow, walk for 1/2 hour a day during lunch.Who am I ? Someone without a thyroid and diagnosed with sleep apnea.
well you are eating something to be that weight and or you are very lazy and not exercising..you need to eat proper meals up to 6 times a day and get off ur *** and exercise
Not eating very much may be contributing to your problem. When you don't eat, your body holds on to the reserves it has. Try eating a little bit every 3-4 hours. This will motivate your metabolism to burn more fat.
Start eating a healthy breakfast every morning. I used to never eat breakfast either, but it really does give you more energy throughout the day, which means you'll burn more calories as they day goes on. Also, if you're not exercising, you should definitely start. Begin slowly by just walking 20-30minutes a day and then increase your time. It's not just about how much you eat. You have to still burn the calories you do eat. Good luck!
well - if you barely eat - your body would seem to be in starvation mode - so it will save everything it canyou need to eat 6 meals a day (WOW!) just to keep 'wood on the campfire' and keep it burning -**cause now- when you throw a log on the embers - it doesn't burn - just smolders - and goes to FAT! and we don;t want that!so - Breakfast like a Queen
mid morning - fruit snack
Luncheon like a Princess
mid afternoon - veggie stick snack like celery - carrot sticks
Supper like a pauperthen before bedtime -= a yogurt - to add the probiotics that
put the proper flora in your digestive systemnow as to calories - firgure what your body needs each day - and then subtract 15% - and we are going to walk - three times a day 10-15 minutes a burst - that burns more fat than a 45 min stint
and the benefits last for over 48 hours - you'll want to walk 5 days a week (and walking gets you ready for bambino!)you can do it! I have the faith!Go Cindy!
3-6 meals a day is important. If you eating in spurts it will cause you body to think your starving and to keep as much fat as possible. Also make sure your getting 8 hours a sleep a day. You might want to work in some walking into your day to. It doesn't have to all be in one shot, you can go for a 5-10 minute walk 2-3 times a day. That will help with the weight
Maybe you just need to regulate yourself, for one breakfast is a very important meal. Exercise is very important daily. Try creating yourself a walking regimen. Or join a sports club and attend at least three times a week. This will help alot! I am short and at one point was very overweight. I fixed my diet eating three smaller meals and small snacks in between, and I definately started an exercise program. I have built alot of muscle and have lost alot of weight. You can do it especially since you dont have those health issues like the thyroid.
you need to be eating breakfast.
and the food you prepare at home consists of what?
do you snack?
do you drink soda with sugar?
how much water do you drink?
do you excersise? if so how often?
are you taking diet pills (heart palpatations)?
Cut your calories and get some excersise. If you really want to lose weight only eat 1150 calories a day and plenty of water. Get some excersise...AND EAT BEFORE TWO PM..Eat Breakfast Lunch and Dinner...but under 1150
sounds like your metabilism has slowed down ..try getting out and exersizing..walking ,running , playing frisbee,, just try to stay busy and eat a few small meals per day..drink lots of water..your probably just not as active as you were when you were younger...
Sorry, but if you have had all medical assessments your next step is seeing if there's a mental problem going on. There could be a deeply hidden cause for you to avoid your present situation and delay motherhood. I'm sure it's nothing you can control on your own but should be another avenue to check into and go from there. Good luck.
yes you aren't eating right. first of all you skip breakfast then don't eat til 2 by the time you eat again it's probably too late in the evening and you aren't buring it off. you should be eating 3 meals a day at the least for optimal metabolism usage. you are very right in wanting to take care of you before getting pregnant my sister didn't and she wound up having to choose dying before baby came to term or aborting and living for her children that were already here mainly due to her weight and the added stress on her heart from pregnancy. it's a decision i would hate for anyone to have to make. staying away from junkfood is a good thing. the heart issue needs to be taken care of (it was my sisters heart which was the biggest problem when it came to the pregnancy) if your job keeps you from eating a dinner at a decent hour make sure your dinners are lower in calories than the rest of the meals. it would help if i knew your schedule of when you go to bed and when you go to work to tell you when the best time to work out is. working out gives u an adrenaline boost so you wouldn't want to do that close to bed time. best of luck to you. oh also fresh fruits and veggies are much lower in fat calories and other bad things than the frozen and canned.
You need to figure out what is a reasonable weight for you. Then look up the number of calories you should have for that weight. Also notice how much proteins, carbohydrates, fats you need. You need to spread your calories and nutrition requirements over the full day. Eat some breakfast, preferably with no sugars. Start walking more , everyday. Go for a walk with your husband. If you can tackle this now, you won't end up with anything like diabetes or worse when you're older. You can be healthy and raise a healthy child or two! Make sure to take some fish oil. It can help to perk up your metabolism. Your body seems to worry that there isn't enough food available and its holding on to all the weight it can. You need to eat more often and eat plenty of fiber and become more physically active to change your metabolism to burn fat. Walk or bike every day or at least five days a week.
I believe you should start eating breakfast with a muli-vitamin... a good size healthy breakfast - lots of nutrients and calories - like a nice big bowl of oatmeal and some fruit or yogurt.... then have a medium lunch, don't worry about calories too much on that one... and a small, low-calorie dinner... and then start walking or bike riding a little more.... and you will loose the weight. You should not let your body be without food so long... then it kinda goes into starvation mode and hordes the calories you do eat.... and of course no calories before bed, since you don't burn calories while you sleep. Most your calories should be consumed in the morning and early afternoon.
BAHHHHH F**K ALL THOSE ANSWERS.Start eating proper meals, you have to in order for you to lose weight otherwise your body will hoard fat as a source of energy rather than.....you guessed it...FOOD!Excercise.....people will bullsh*t you with 20 mins, 3 times a week. NO! 40 minutes, 5 days a week.IF you're overweight it will be hard at first but there is a point where your body taps into fat as a direct energy source whiilst excercising. An overweight person may not hit it, an average person may hit this point after 20 minutes of excercise then your body is practically just melting off the fat. A fit person may only take 10 minutes to do it.Also, lift weights, build muslce.....the more muslce you have, the faster your body can burn calories as more muscle generally means faster metabolism.JUST BE SENSIBLE AND FOLLOW THOSE GUIDLINES AND YOU CANT GO WRONG.
I'm guessing it is what and or how you eat.Try eating six small meals including healthy snacks a day and be sure to keep them healthy. Make sure you eat breakfast, even if it is a bowl of fruit or a healthy cereal. How do you prepare your meals at home? Stay away from frying foods. Use a steamer, they make the best chicken and veggies when you add some lemon and pepper season to it. Walk in the morning, afternoon or evening after dinner, even if it is on a treadmill at least 5 days a week. Try some low impact aerobics.
