Answer:
First you should eat breakfast. It is thought eating more smaller meals to be healthier than fewer meals. Divide you meals into 5 portions, one breakfast, snack before and and after lunch and dinner.Next thing that you should be concerned with is the heart palpitations. How do you sleep ? Lack of sleep or a sleep disorder can lead to weight gain, in particular sleep apnea where you stop breathing during your sleep can put stress on you heart. Now back to the thyroid, do not just blindly believe your doctor when says there is nothing wrong with your thyroid. There is a controversy about what the normal TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) range should be. Before you needed a TSH above 5.5 to be considered hypothyroid, and newer range says anything above 3. Still many people have thyroid problems if there TSH is above 2. Ask for the results of your blood tests.Next I haven't heard anything about exercise. Start, but since you have heart palpitations try going slow, walk for 1/2 hour a day during lunch.Who am I ? Someone without a thyroid and diagnosed with sleep apnea.
well you are eating something to be that weight and or you are very lazy and not exercising..you need to eat proper meals up to 6 times a day and get off ur *** and exercise
Not eating very much may be contributing to your problem. When you don't eat, your body holds on to the reserves it has. Try eating a little bit every 3-4 hours. This will motivate your metabolism to burn more fat.
Start eating a healthy breakfast every morning. I used to never eat breakfast either, but it really does give you more energy throughout the day, which means you'll burn more calories as they day goes on. Also, if you're not exercising, you should definitely start. Begin slowly by just walking 20-30minutes a day and then increase your time. It's not just about how much you eat. You have to still burn the calories you do eat. Good luck!
well - if you barely eat - your body would seem to be in starvation mode - so it will save everything it canyou need to eat 6 meals a day (WOW!) just to keep 'wood on the campfire' and keep it burning -**cause now- when you throw a log on the embers - it doesn't burn - just smolders - and goes to FAT! and we don;t want that!so - Breakfast like a Queen
mid morning - fruit snack
Luncheon like a Princess
mid afternoon - veggie stick snack like celery - carrot sticks
Supper like a pauperthen before bedtime -= a yogurt - to add the probiotics that
put the proper flora in your digestive systemnow as to calories - firgure what your body needs each day - and then subtract 15% - and we are going to walk - three times a day 10-15 minutes a burst - that burns more fat than a 45 min stint
and the benefits last for over 48 hours - you'll want to walk 5 days a week (and walking gets you ready for bambino!)you can do it! I have the faith!Go Cindy!
3-6 meals a day is important. If you eating in spurts it will cause you body to think your starving and to keep as much fat as possible. Also make sure your getting 8 hours a sleep a day. You might want to work in some walking into your day to. It doesn't have to all be in one shot, you can go for a 5-10 minute walk 2-3 times a day. That will help with the weight
Maybe you just need to regulate yourself, for one breakfast is a very important meal. Exercise is very important daily. Try creating yourself a walking regimen. Or join a sports club and attend at least three times a week. This will help alot! I am short and at one point was very overweight. I fixed my diet eating three smaller meals and small snacks in between, and I definately started an exercise program. I have built alot of muscle and have lost alot of weight. You can do it especially since you dont have those health issues like the thyroid.
you need to be eating breakfast.
and the food you prepare at home consists of what?
do you snack?
do you drink soda with sugar?
how much water do you drink?
do you excersise? if so how often?
are you taking diet pills (heart palpatations)?
Cut your calories and get some excersise. If you really want to lose weight only eat 1150 calories a day and plenty of water. Get some excersise...AND EAT BEFORE TWO PM..Eat Breakfast Lunch and Dinner...but under 1150
sounds like your metabilism has slowed down ..try getting out and exersizing..walking ,running , playing frisbee,, just try to stay busy and eat a few small meals per day..drink lots of water..your probably just not as active as you were when you were younger...
Sorry, but if you have had all medical assessments your next step is seeing if there's a mental problem going on. There could be a deeply hidden cause for you to avoid your present situation and delay motherhood. I'm sure it's nothing you can control on your own but should be another avenue to check into and go from there. Good luck.
yes you aren't eating right. first of all you skip breakfast then don't eat til 2 by the time you eat again it's probably too late in the evening and you aren't buring it off. you should be eating 3 meals a day at the least for optimal metabolism usage. you are very right in wanting to take care of you before getting pregnant my sister didn't and she wound up having to choose dying before baby came to term or aborting and living for her children that were already here mainly due to her weight and the added stress on her heart from pregnancy. it's a decision i would hate for anyone to have to make. staying away from junkfood is a good thing. the heart issue needs to be taken care of (it was my sisters heart which was the biggest problem when it came to the pregnancy) if your job keeps you from eating a dinner at a decent hour make sure your dinners are lower in calories than the rest of the meals. it would help if i knew your schedule of when you go to bed and when you go to work to tell you when the best time to work out is. working out gives u an adrenaline boost so you wouldn't want to do that close to bed time. best of luck to you. oh also fresh fruits and veggies are much lower in fat calories and other bad things than the frozen and canned.
You need to figure out what is a reasonable weight for you. Then look up the number of calories you should have for that weight. Also notice how much proteins, carbohydrates, fats you need. You need to spread your calories and nutrition requirements over the full day. Eat some breakfast, preferably with no sugars. Start walking more , everyday. Go for a walk with your husband. If you can tackle this now, you won't end up with anything like diabetes or worse when you're older. You can be healthy and raise a healthy child or two! Make sure to take some fish oil. It can help to perk up your metabolism. Your body seems to worry that there isn't enough food available and its holding on to all the weight it can. You need to eat more often and eat plenty of fiber and become more physically active to change your metabolism to burn fat. Walk or bike every day or at least five days a week.
I believe you should start eating breakfast with a muli-vitamin... a good size healthy breakfast - lots of nutrients and calories - like a nice big bowl of oatmeal and some fruit or yogurt.... then have a medium lunch, don't worry about calories too much on that one... and a small, low-calorie dinner... and then start walking or bike riding a little more.... and you will loose the weight. You should not let your body be without food so long... then it kinda goes into starvation mode and hordes the calories you do eat.... and of course no calories before bed, since you don't burn calories while you sleep. Most your calories should be consumed in the morning and early afternoon.
BAHHHHH F**K ALL THOSE ANSWERS.Start eating proper meals, you have to in order for you to lose weight otherwise your body will hoard fat as a source of energy rather than.....you guessed it...FOOD!Excercise.....people will bullsh*t you with 20 mins, 3 times a week. NO! 40 minutes, 5 days a week.IF you're overweight it will be hard at first but there is a point where your body taps into fat as a direct energy source whiilst excercising. An overweight person may not hit it, an average person may hit this point after 20 minutes of excercise then your body is practically just melting off the fat. A fit person may only take 10 minutes to do it.Also, lift weights, build muslce.....the more muslce you have, the faster your body can burn calories as more muscle generally means faster metabolism.JUST BE SENSIBLE AND FOLLOW THOSE GUIDLINES AND YOU CANT GO WRONG.
I'm guessing it is what and or how you eat.Try eating six small meals including healthy snacks a day and be sure to keep them healthy. Make sure you eat breakfast, even if it is a bowl of fruit or a healthy cereal. How do you prepare your meals at home? Stay away from frying foods. Use a steamer, they make the best chicken and veggies when you add some lemon and pepper season to it. Walk in the morning, afternoon or evening after dinner, even if it is on a treadmill at least 5 days a week. Try some low impact aerobics.
