I need suggestions on what to have for dinner to stay healthy and make sure i get all my nutrients.
Here are the stuff I can not have:
No food after 6:00 pm
No juice
No sugar
No honey
No rice
No bread
No potato
No weighing myself
and I will be taking one vitamin a day
ONE A DAY VITAMIN
How does this meal sound to you all? Also, if i have cereal for dinner (special k or honey bunches of oats), how much weight do you think i will lose?
I also work out three days a week and im starting pilates once a week tomorrows my first class.

Go over to your local book store and check out the book called "the abs diet" i read it and have been trying to stay close to what they gave for nutrition guides and exercise. I use to be 265 I'm down to 205 its been just over a year. Good luck!
The real key is that you have to take it easy in the gym until you get into a 21 day habit. That doesn't mean 21 straight days in the gym, but stay on your gym scedual for 21 days. For this to happen you must really limit how hard you work in the gym. I know it's temping and you want to see results, but pushing too hard will only tire you out and make you miss days. For the first couple of weeks just go to the gym and do a light work out. Make it fun so that you will go back. Once you have a routine, then worry about food.
Well sounds like your serious and actually great on exercise and diet is the best plan. i think that much fruit for breakfast is too much starch what about yogurt or 1 fruit and a bowl of kellogs or oatmeal? as for dinner suggestions try grilled chicken, and a cup of steamed veggies, Or a vegetarian pizza- you can get recipies online, anyways good luck.
I hear that in many countries in Europe, they have a heavier breakfast, a good sized lunch and a light dinner, and Europeans tend to be lighter than Americans. I suggest you have some sort of bread or cereal in the morning along with your fruit. If cereal, have skim or 1% milk. Lunch sounds fine. For dinner, and one of my favorites, you could have whole wheat pasta, one serving size, and a fresh tomato sauce, or sundried tomatoes. For lunch, also try wraps on whole weat tortillas. They're very good too.
Yikes, try and focus on some complex carbs for breakfast. Rolled oats are great, they keep you going for ages! Breakfast should be your biggest meal of the day, the rest of your meals should get smaller. So your lunch sounds great, but I think you need something more substantial for breakfast. You've got no sugar listed, but you're having fruit for breakfast? The sugar content in fruit is high, and whilst fruit does have some great nutritional value it's not going to keep you going till lunch. Try having smaller healthy snacks throughout the day otherwise you will find yourself pigging out later on.And make sure your exercise for 30 mins a day min!The slower you loose weight the more likely it is to stay off, and you will have a greater impact on speeding up your metabolism!
so happy that yu are not crash dieting and are aiming for a healthy weight. good for you!I wouldn't, however, cut out things completely. One of my favoruite dieting rules is that the only "diets" you should go on are ones that you can live off of for life.(with room for alerations)Cutting out bread and things doesnt sound maintainable..you should try replacing them ionstead of eliminating them. Instead of white bread, go for wheat or light wheat, cut back on sugar instead of none. For your meals Ithink you should probably have a bit more variety and add some snacks in between. this will keep you from binging. You should have a carb, protein, and a veggie in each meal. Low carb dieting is not a good solution...it is unhealthy and the weight always comes back...definatly not "nutritious or healthy." Have a small snack in between meals such as fruit or veggies or prezels(unsalted) or trail mix. Depriving yourself will not work..ive tried it. Try not to set too many rules for yourself as this creates added stress, wich is a great trigger for diet failure. To track your nutrients and other intack goto fitday.com
I used this and it tells you what you are and are not getting enough of and you can even track your exersizing. Ive used it for years and am at a healthy 120 lbs .Best of luck to you and don't be too hard on yourself. :)
We are exactly the same height and used to weigh 162 and since October ive lost 25 lbs. So if you work hard it is possible to lose the weight. What I would suggest for your diet is to incorporate GOOD carbs(e.g. brown rice, whole wheat pasta, and whole wheat bread). The problem that alot of people do when on a diet is cuttimg out essnential foods and when they reach their goal weight and eating foods that they cut out during their diet and put the weight right back on. So if this is a long term goal don't cut out foods drastically. For your breakfast try eating a bowl of whole wheat cereal (Cheerios) w/ lowfat milk. For your exercise 3 days is good, but you want to make sure that you are always pushing yourself because if your routine becomes to monotomous your body will naturally store fat. And remember that weight training and stretching is just as important as aerobic workout. Good Luck!
Age info would have been helpful. You cannot lose weight by starving yourself. Your body will go into "starvation mode" and protect itself from losing weight.
So you got to eat, but eat smarter. Complex carbs are important for energy over an extended period.(That is breads, spuds, vegetables). so you have the energy to work out (which does the burning of fat) or muscle if you do not supply enough food.
Sugar and pop give you quick energy like gas on a fire, but burn out quickly making you sluggish.
Having cereal for dinner is not a good plan as cereal is sugar and starch.I have cereal everymorning and 2 slices bread peabut/jam. One sand at lunch with cheese or meat slice and a whole 3 course meal for dinner. Dessert once in awhile. I have been the same weight 150 for 15 years which says I burn what I eat...no more, no less.
If I want to eat healthier I would go stirfry cooking veges and meat. and that gives me alot more energy.
Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.
I found this on this website. There are more tips and info.
there's a video on success fitness too.
