How can a teenager lose 8-10 pounds in about a month?

i'm pretty thin...but i do have a little bit of a stomach %26 crunches don't work i know that.. i know you can't do spot treatment and you have to lose all over your body..i've been eating alot of fruits %26 veggies, rice-cakes, salads, protien, milk, lots of water.. and trying to watch my calories.. i've been running the treadmill 30min a day %26%26 i really want my stomach gone in a month for prom...what else can i do to get in better shape %26 healthier?

sounds like you are doing all the right things eating and exercising if your not over weight what are you so worried about anyway try some cardio exercises and try eight minute ab workout its awsome and works
If you are already thin and still want to lose 8-10lbs in a month, you have to starve yourself to achieve this goal...otherwise it's impossible.

Do nothing Ashley; a woman naturally has a small mound at her abdomen. Flat abs are a male thing and for a woman to copy and gain the same look is detrimental to her physical well being.
Leave the belly alone if you are already thin enough. Trust me you will look a lot better as a woman for it.

First of all DO NOT STARVE yourself. You might lose the weight but you will be pale or ashy looking. Your eyes will sink in and you will look scary!! Your best bet is to lose weight is to do pushups-- real ones not girly ones!! No knees!!! This strengths not only your arms but your butt, abs and back. Do about 20 a day for the first two weeks and then 30 for the last two. Rest on Sundays. After the Pushups wait two minutes-- get a drink whatever-- then Do situps. Do not hold you feet down, it will be harder but you will look better. Do 40 then increase to 60 slowly. Again rest on Sundays. Then wait 10 minutes. Warm your legs up and go for a 2 mile run. Yes it is long but you will drop weight like crazy. Run every other day. But not Sunday. Also depending on your weight-- and the weight you want to be: If you want to weight 120 eat 1200 calories a day at least. Take your weight and times it by 10. That is the minimum to eat to stay healthy. Also cut carbs-- no potatoes, pasta or white bread--NO more rice cakes either! :) Drink only water and lowfat milk. Drink 10 glasses a day. 2 milk, 8 water and you will be fine. Note: You will probably be in the bathroom right about an hour after your runs for a while. Exercise moves things along. It is normal so there is nothing to worry about.Good Luck!!
