Answer:
Try telling her to help you lose weight. Make her think that if she doesn't exercise that it makes you not want to.Sometimes a different approach helps.
It is wonderful that she has you as a friend but it her parents who need to get her on the right track, there is very little you can do beyond what you have already done
She has to want to be healthy, you can't force someone to change their lifestyle. Give her information from the internet on obesity and the effects it has on the heart and other organs. scare her into wanting to be healthy.
Buy the book Aggressive Health on Amazon. I havent read it, but it looks like it would be good. And slip it into her locker, or pretend it is for u but "accidentally" leave it at her house and she might read it and try to be more healthy.
At least you've got her to GO with you, that's a huge step.A couple ideas that might help:Are there some physical activities that would REQUIRE both of you to participate? Something that's fun, but you can't do without someone else?Exercise doesn't HAVE to be at the gym. There are lots of fun outdoor activities that burn plenty of calories.
Tell her that she is very ugly and physically and mentally. That would hurt her, but she needs some strong emotion to begin a new life. Tell her that you would leave her if she doesn't think about herself, that means she is a very neglecting person, who would neglect you, her friend, in the future, because she has not enough strength to change her bad character.
I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water. It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me. Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!
